Privacy and Confidentiality

JE Community Services is committed to the transparent management of personal and health information about its clients and staff. This commitment includes protecting the privacy of personal information, in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) set out in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cwlth) amended by the Privacy Amendment (Enhancing Privacy Protection) Act 2012 (Cwlth).

JE Community Services will comply with the South Australian Information Sharing Guidelines (ISG) in its management of client information. JE Community Services staff are mandated (Under section 11 of the Children’s Protection Act 1993 (SA)) to report suspected abuse or neglect. JE Community Services respects client privacy and confidentiality and will seek consent before disclosing confidential information.
